Domini 2007 Tinto

A ano passado tivemos a oportunidade de beber um belo tinto da mesma marca, mas de um segmento de mercado superior. Chama-se Domini Plus e fiquei rendido ao vinho.

Quando encontrei este Domini que custa apenas 7€ quis comparar com o outro e pelo menos verificar que continha a essência do outro irmão.

Aparência:
Cor granada com alguma profundidade. Lágrima escorre lentamente no copo.

Aromas:
Não tem muita intensidade. É muito simples e há frutos vermelhos.

Palato:
Médio seco, corpo médio, de sabor jovem mas com pouca intensidade. Tem uma ligeira textura e acidez correcta. Sabe a frutos vermelhos. Tem sabor suave mas não deslumbra. Há vinhos desde preço com mais potência e mais estrutura. Este prima pela elegância. Tem sabor muito simples e não me agradou. Tornou-se chato à medida que se foi bebendo.

Final:
Médio.

Conclusão:
Não está sequer de perto da alma do Domini Plus. Por este preço há outra propostas muito interessantes. Não gostei. Se comprou beba-o já porque a rolha não vai dar muitas oportunidades para envelhecimento.

The last year we had the opportunity to drink a nice red wine from the same brand, but targeted for higher market segment. It's called Domini Plus and I was surrendered.

When I saw this Domini which costs just 7€ wanted to compare and at least check if it  contained the essence of the other brother.


Aperance:

Garnet colour with some depth. Tear runs slowly into the cup.

Aroma:
Youthful, not to intense. It is very simple and there are some red fruits.

Palate:
Off-dry, medium body, young flavours no intensity and complexity. Has a slight texture and correct acidity. It has mild red fruit flavour. There are wines for this price with more power and structure. This bets on elegance. Very simple taste and I did not like. It became annoying as it was drinking.

Finish:
Medium.

Conclusion:
Not even close to the soul of the Domini Plus. For this price there are other very interesting proposals. Do not like it. Drink it now because the cork will not give many opportunities for ageing proposes.
