Xelb 2008 Tinto

Beber vinhos da região do Algarve é uma tarefa difícil, devido à ineficácia dos circuitos de distribuição e pelo facto da região não ser ainda percecionada como de produção de vinho e por esse motivo, é vista com desconfiança. 

Feito a partir de Touriga Nacional, Aragonês e Cabernet Sauvignon.

Cor rubi opaca.

Aromas denso mas confuso, frutas pretas.

Na boca é espigado, encorpado, mas muito oxidado e passado, demasiado negro para meu gosto o que o torna pesado. Nota-se o Cabernet a dar um ar da sua graça mas isso não chega porque o vinho tem pouca compostura.


Final médio.

Drinking wines from Algarve region is a hard task, due the inefficiency of the supply chain and also due to the fact that the region is not yet perceived that it can produce wines.

Made from a blend of Touriga Nacional, Aragonês and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Dark ruby color.

Very dense and dizzy aroma. Mostly dark fruit.

Very harsh, full bodied, oxidation at large and beyond ripe fruit. Too much black fruit for my taste that makes it heavy in the stomach. In the end there is Cabernet but that is not enough, because the wine does not have structure.

Medium finish.
