Volta à mesa um vinho que não lhe punha a vista em cima há mais de uma mão cheia de anos.
Feito a partir de Touriga franca, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz e Tinta Barroca.

Gordo no aroma: fruta madura, madeira e baunilha.

Na boca nota-se estrutura, seca um pouco no inicio, tem fruta madura que não caminha para o doce e vai-se sendo dominado pela madeira pela qual o vinho pareceu ter ser filtrado e acaba com alguma baunilha tipo rebuçado.

Final médio e especiado.

Tinto fácil de beber. Vai bem com os assados.

Back to table a wine that does not put my eyes on more than a handful of years. Made from Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz and Tinta Barroca.

Fat aroma: ripe fruit, oak and vanilla.

In the mouth it's structured, a bit dry at first, noticed ripe fruit that does not go for the sweet side. Oak character the wine seemed to be filtered by it and ends with some vanilla candy flavor.

Spicy medium finish.

Easy to drink. Pairs perfectly with roast meat.

Casa da Passarella o Enologo 2012 Branco

A história do contra-rotulo é hilariante e apresenta o irmão de um produtor de vinhos que tudo fez para tornar os vinhos mais ousados, vanguardistas em vez de conservadores e corretos. Ora, com tal historia, este vinho prometia e muito.

Aroma a maracujá e sumo de limão. Super aromático e focado.

Na boca é seco, salgado, como um espelho do nariz: maracujá e limão. Está tudo ainda muito jovem. Podia ter mais acidez. Tem um estilo fina flor. Leve mas afinado.

Final longo e persistente.

Bolas! Estava à espera de algo contra a corrente, fora do vulgar, mas infelizmente apenas saiu um vinho bom para peixinho.

The story in the back label is hilarious, it states that a brother of a wine producer made everything to change the wines the other brother meant to deliver: different, against the odds, ahead of the curve. This wine promised a lot.

Aromas full of passion fruit and lemon. Very focused and aromatic.

In the mouth is dry, salty is like a mirror of the nose: passion fruit and lemon. It's still very infant stage. it could have more acidity. It has a profile of the finest and delicate flowers. Light but very sharp.

Long and persistent finish.

Dam it!  I was waiting something out of the box, but it just came out to be a very interesting wine to pair with fish!

Três Bagos Sauvignon Blanc 2011

Da mesma forma que se pede uma cola ou um sumo de laranja, em alguns mercados como o Americano ou Inglês pede-se um vinho feito de castas que sabem sempre ao mesmo independentemente da origem do vinho.Os vinhos feitos de Sauvignon Blanc encaixam-se neste tipo.

Aroma a maracujá, perfumado e fresco.

Na boca tem boa acidez, vivo, seco, mineral e sabe basicamente a ... maracujá. Simples, direto, refrescante. Tecnicamente correto.

Final curto.

Nose full of passion fruit.

In the mouth has vivid acidity, dry, mineral and tastes basically to  ... passion fruit. Simple, direct, refreshing. Technically correct.

Short finish.

Dow's LBV 2007

Cor rubi baço.

Aromas fechados, nota-se figos e chocolate, mas não é nada cativante.

Na boca é fresco, longo, cheio de figos secos acompanhado de bolacha e termina com chocolate preto. Nota-se as entranhas do casco onde envelheceu. Não é complexo, é direto ao alvo.

Final longo com especiaria e carregado de figo e balsâmico. Muito bom.

Closed aromas: figs, chocolate but it's not captivating.

In the mouth is fresh, long, full of figs, cookies and dark chocolate. It can be felt the guts of the barrels. It's not complex it goes direct to the heart.

Dikas Reserva 2009 Tinto

Cor granada escura.

Nariz jovem, sem grande historia para contar.

Aposta tudo na potência, muito álcool, torrado, a da fruta quase não há sinal.

Final médio.

Granja Amareleja Moreto Pé-Franco 2009 Tinto

Este produtor faz vinhos tintos leves mas cheios de caráter.

Monocasta feito a partir de Moreto.

Cor granada escura.

Aromático, madeira, baunilha e fruta madura.

Na boca é aguardentado, fruta madura, licor, interage muito. Está embalado por madeira doce
que facilita a ingestão.

Final médio.

This producer makes light reds, but full of character.

Single variety wine, made of Moreto.

Dark garnet color.

Aromatic, oak, vanilla and ripe fruit.

In he mouth it has brandy, ripe fruit, licorice and interacts a lot. It haves strong presence of sweet oak that facilitates ingestion.

Medium finish.

Hidrângeas 2011 Branco

Muito estival e fino de aromas. Cheira a verão. Cheira a maçã granny smith.

Fresco, leve, seco, com frutos frescos, pêssego, maçã granny smith, casca de lima, um pouco de limonete.

Final longo.

Um branco que sai do lima limão. Recomendado.

Very focused aromas, very summer felling, lots of granny smith apple.

Fresh, light, dry, fresh fruit, peach, granny smith apple, lime zest, some lemon verbena.

Long finish.

A white that fortunately gets out from the lemonade profile. Recommended.

Cottas 2010 Tinto

Feito a partir de Touriga Franca e Touriga Nacional.

Cor granada.

Aroma fechado, nota-se fruta vermelha mas está escondida.

Na boca sobressai o contacto com a madeira, dando depois lugar a sabor a framboesa e outras bagas. Medianamente encorpado, tem alguma frescura mas falta profundidade ao sabor. No fim parece que temos toffee.

Final médio.

In the mouth I felt upfront oak contact and them it enters in the berry land. Medium body it has some freshness, but lacks to go deep in the flavor. In the end there are some toffee hints.

Vnhas Velhas 2009 Tinto

Feito de múltiplas castas regionais.

Cor rubi.

Aroma a frutos vermelhos e a baunilha.

Na boca é denso, forte e ligeiramente seco. Tem forte foco nos frutos vermelhos maduros e acaba com o sabor da baunilha. Nada de extraordinário.


Final longo.

O marketing tem destas coisas. Coloca-se vinhas velhas no rótulo e depois esfuma-se ao sabor do vento todas as características típicas de vinhos feitos com uvas provenientes de vinhas com idade.

Rubi color.

Red fruit and vanilla in the nose.

In the mouth is dense, strong and slightly dry. It has strong focus in red fruit and ends to taste to vanilla. Nothing extraordinary.

Long finish.

Marketing has this kind of things. Put old vines on the label and all the character and promises of a complex wine just goes with the wind.

Morgado do Perdigão 2011 Branco

Feito a partir de Alvarinho e Loureiro.

Nariz contido. Muito mineral, notas de fruta tropical escondida e um floral muito harmonioso.

Na boca é brilhante, vivo, cheio de força, mas leve. Ligeiramente seco, maioritariamente cítrico, mineral, tem um pouco de tropical e acaba com sabor a uvas brancas.

Final médio.

Um super vinho verde. Altamente recomendado.

Made from a blend of Alvatinho and Loureiro.

Does not interact a lot with the nose. Very mineral with hints of hidden tropical fruit and some floral notes.

In the mouth it's sharp acidity brings power and life, but it's still a light wine. Slightly dry, mostly citric, mineral, its has some tropical character, but not to much. Ends tasting to white grapes.

Medium finish.

A super "Vinho Verde". Highly recommended.
